A few of our goings on...

What we have been up to the last week or so.....
The kids got puzzle postcards from Lulu and Bryan from Grand Cayman and cannot get enough of them. I have to help them do their puzzles at least 4 times a day. I am kind of hoping the novelty of it wears off soon....
"Show Lulu your teeth London!" That is how we get her to smile.

Jackson loves his puzzle.
We moved London downstairs to her new pink room. Here she is taking her very first nap in it. I got her some cute bedding (from Wal-mart suprisingly) and she is a big girl now!

Then we moved the guest bed upstairs to London's old room. I think it looks very good upstairs. Here is a picture of your new room, mom, dad, Lulu, Bry, Chel, Riley, Sam, Steve, Dana, Andy, Bri, ...and anyone who has slept in this bed.

Our neighbors next door-Justin, Paola, and Luke moved. It is sad to see them go. Jackson and Luke loved to play together. Jackson really wanted a picture with Luke before he moved.

Jackson as happy as he can be with his "Happy Meal" probably because I rarely rarely buy them Happy Meals.

Jacks, Londie, and cousins at the pool. They had a blast! Jackson can do front flips off the diving board and all sorts of other cool tricks. He is getting to be a great swimmer. London is a little fish and loves the water.
We had a barbecue at Jim and Lindseys with Steve and Dana, and all the kids dressed up like weed monsters in the back yard.

Oklahoma! Oklahoma! Oklahoma!

Here are some pics from our fun trip to Oklahoma City
Jackson and London's first big plane ride. They were both very excited and did very well.

Steve, Dana, and Cash, our awesome hosts for the week. Thank you so much for such a fun week and for letting us spend it with you. Thank you to Rob and Cynthia for being so welcoming and generous.

Sweet little baby Cash

Cash looks just like a little red-headed Steve.
We tubed and wakeboarded and waterskiied and swam in the lake for 4 days. The water was warm, smooth and beautiful.
We helped take care of Cash. The kids loved holding him.
Swimming again
Wes and Steve got to have a little guy time

All of us after a yummy meal at Sante Fe Cattle Co.

Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. It was really neat. We are very glad we got to go there.
We had a great vacation full of water, sun, relaxation, good food.....and the sound of Cash crying....just kidding....he was so worth it.

The Few, The Proud, The Marines...a little taste

Just a little taste of what my little bro, Sam, has been up to the last 7 weeks or so. He is currently attending Officer Candidate School for the Marines in Quantico, VA. He says it is really really hard and I don't doubt him one bit. Here he is pictured above climbing on a rope. He is NOT in any of the rest of the pics below, but these are pics of his plattoon. I just posted them because it looks kind of fun. Ok, OK it looks dang hard! Jackson and I looked at these pics together and I kept saying, "Doesn't that look so hard, Jackson,?" and he kept saying, "That looks so easy and so fun! I want to be a Marine!" Hmmm, what little kid wouldn't love climbing on things, swinging from ropes, carrying around a "toy" gun, swimming through muddy water, and swinging on the monkey bars?
We love you Sam and we are so proud of you! You are so awesome! We can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

I think they have to swim through that cement pipe with just a tiny bit of air at the top. Scary!

Hogle Zoo!

It all started with a fun ride to the zoo in Grandpa's new corvette. Wes and Jackson had to draw straws for who got to ride in the new corvette and as you can see, Jackson won. I don't think there was any real worry about who would win that one...
Grandpa and Grandma treated us with a wonderful day at the zoo. Thank you so much! We had so much fun with you and appreciate you both very much.

Wes says he remembers taking pictures at this water fountain when he was little.

Jackson loves the Penguins of Madagascar so this was a real treat.
London and the tiger
Londie and the giraffes
Jackson's 2nd favorite thing at the zoo. His first favorite was the 3 min. train ride.

Twins!

They had a discover playground which the kids absolutely loved!

THANK YOU Grandma and Grandpa for a wonderful day at the zoo!

4th of July!

Grandma and Grandpa and Riley and Chel came down for 4th of July. We had a barbecue and invited some friends over for a few fireworks. It got real windy halfway through so we didn't get to finish them.

My friend Lindsey made a cape and skirt for her kids so she made a couple for mine too for 4th of July. She is the best!
