Family Home Evening Fun

We had a great FHE tonight....I laid in bed and took pictures of the kids jumping, then we tried on all of Grandma Teddie's old jewelry. The kids loved it. Then we read one scripture. It was a very very spiritual lesson.

Catching Up

Found the Camera! So here are some pics of our goings on...Teddie
The kids with their 3D glasses from Aunt Chelsea
London love olives. This totally reminds me of my childhood on Thanksgiving Day.

Teddie and Benji with Papa
I like Benji's stance in this one

Teddie inside Benji's kennel...Benji wondering why there is a dog in his kennel.
Ok, here are my race pics. This is after the run getting on my bike.

Me and Lindsey afterwards. Those oranges sure did taste good.

Halloween Aftermath

Here are the rewards and what I walked into early Sunday morning following Halloween.
Nice Sunday pictures. I love my cute kiddos so much. They are worth every heartache and frustration that comes along with having kids.

And my handsome husband who is a wonderful dad.

Curvy Sugar

Here is a funny thing Jackson said:

Jackson loves ICEE's from the gas station. So he always wants one and I am always telling him he can't have an ICEE from the gas station because there is too much sugar in it, so here is our conversation from the car yesterday:

Jackson: Mom, can I have an ICEE?

Me: No, you just got done eating all your Halloween candy and ICEE's have way too much sugar.

Jackson: .....But mom, it is curvy sugar.

Me: ??????.......What? What is curvy sugar?

Jackson: You know, like straight sugar.

Me: ???????..............??????????????

(I am thinking thinking thinking, and suddenly it clicks.)When I tell Jackson he can't have one, this is what I usually say..."No Jackson, you can't have an ICEE because they are STRAIGHT sugar.

Ha ha ha, I couldn't stop laughing! He says the funniest things!

Turkey Triathalon

I finished my second triathalon (a sprint) yesterday. It was a lot of fun. I was 169th out of about 450 people and I got 10th place in my age group (30-34) out of 44 people. I was pretty happy with that considering I am a very very slow swimmer. My mom and dad and little sis Chelsea came to support me and I was really glad they were there. I also did the race with 2 good friends and we all finished within about a minute of each other, so it was really fun. The weather was beautiful!

Unfortunately the last time we saw our camera was at the race, so I have no pictures to show you. If it turns up, I will post them later. Sad.
