We had a good time over Easter. Chelsea and Riley came down and stayed with us. Laura, Bryan, and Grandma Susie came up and we helped L and B move out of their house. We had an Easter Egg hunt with our ward and then Easter dinner on Sunday with everyone. It was really fun. Jackson and London loved finding the Easter Eggs.

London 11 months!
Londie-you are 11 months old today and growing up so fast! London took her first real steps without holding onto anything on March 26th. She is learning fast....
Jackson's Contest
Hi everyone,
Thank you for voting for Jackson! He didn't win the contest, but that's ok. It was fun anyway. We appreciate all your support. He loves singing that song, so it was fun to enter him in. Thanks again!

VOTE FOR JACKSON!
We entered Jackson in a kid karaoke contest called “Kiddeoke” on 97.1 zht radio. He is singing his famous rendition of “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash. We would love it if you would please vote for him. You can vote now until March 27, 2008, 12 pm MST, and the winner gets a trip for 4 to Disneyland! Jackson would really love that so if everyone loves us and votes for us that would be awesome! I think you can only vote once per IP address, so pass this on to all your friends and family so Jackson can win. Jackson is contestant #48 in the 2-4 year old category. Thanks a ton!

Last Fall
This picture was taken last fall up in the mountains. I thought it was a nice picture of my little family so I thought I would share it. Cute huh? Jackson looks like a little farm boy with his John Deere hat on. He love John Deere because that's what Grandpa drives on the farm.
Good thing we have kids so we have something to put on the blog. It seems like all we take pictures of anymore is our kids, which is perfectly fine. Here is London in her chair up to the counter eating cheerios or bread. She loves to be up to the table with the family. She sure is sweet. Jackson was told by Saundra that if he stayed in the bathtub (he was taking a bath) too long he would have to sleep in there. Well that was the wrong thing to say. As soon has he got ready for bed he hightailed it into the bathroom with his pillow and blanket and proceeded to get into the tub. I was unaware of what Saundra had said so I asked Jackson what he was doing and he said, "sleeping in the tub." "Okay, have a good night," I said. That didn't last long. He was in his bed before we knew it. Jackson did sleep downstairs all by himself awhile ago. He said he was too hot in his room and wanted to sleep downstairs. We were surprised and thought he would be back up in no time. He slept the whole night downstairs alone. It scares me to sleep downstairs alone. Kidding. We love our kids. They are so good and we are so blessed to have them.
London Eating Cheerios
London loves sitting up to the table eating bread or cheerios. She is so fun to be around. We know when she is finished because she starts throwing everything onto the floor or pounding her food. We love her.

Fun with Friends!
Here is Jackson having fun with his friends, Caleb and Brynley, who we do lots of things with. I am really good friends with their mom, Lindsey, and we live close by, so we have a lot of fun together. Here they are having a snack and getting ready to watch a movie. Cute smile Brynley!
Daddy's Girl
London loves Wes so much I can't even believe it. Her first official word was "Dada" and she gets so excited when he is around. She loves to be held and cuddled by her daddy. She is definitely a daddy's girl. She loves to wear his UPS hat although she was very tired in this picture so she doesn't look too happy.

Bear Blankey!
Grandma Susie handcrafted and handstitched each and every bear.
Grandma even designed a cute girl bear just for London.

Well, it is finally done! Presenting the infamous bear blanket that Grandma Susie has been working on for the last 6 months or so! Thank you Grandma Susie! Londie loves her blanket. Well, she better love it! There was just as much sweat and tears as there was love put into this blanket. Grandma worked and worked and it payed off. We think this is the cutest blanket ever made. Grandpa David even likes it so much that Grandma is going to make him one too. Hopefully it will be finished before next winter. Ha ha, just kidding Grandma. We love you and thank you for the precious blankey for London.
Shooting Guns
Jackson being silly. I told him to smile for the camera and this is what he did.
Jackson shooting guns with Uncle Andy, Aunt Bri, and Daddy. He didn't shoot any, of course, just got muddy and had fun throwing the skeet around-or so I heard.
Wes, Andy, and Andy's friend, Derek.

Fun times
Here we are doing some more fun things while being stuck in the house because of the cold. Jackson loves to take baths, pretend to dress up, and play with London. We put Jackson's sunglasses on London and she loved them. She didn't even try to take them off-just smiled at us. That's 2 for 2. Both our kids love to wear sunglasses. You can also see London's 2 front teeth growing in really well in that picture.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you Grandma Susie for the cute cards you sent us. Jackson's card was a musical card that played , what else? "Ring of Fire," and Londie's card had a cute kitty on it. I had to post all 4 of these pics to show how hard it is to take a cute picture of both of them looking at the camera. They finally both looked, but with no smiles.

February Fun
Well, we have led pretty uneventful lives this month. The weather has been cold and we are trying to scrimp and save our pennies so we can start finishing our basement, so we have spent a lot of time inside at home trying to think up fun things to do--like tearing up magazines, taking baths, making faces, and trying on daddy's clothes. Jackson and London love to play together and keep each other company so that is good. Wes has been working hard at UPS and I have been doing a lot of reading (for fun) and practicing the piano (for ward choir.) I guess that is about it for now.

Rexburg, Idaho Temple
We went to Rexburg over the weekend and had a great time. We went to the Rexburg Temple open house early Saturday morning and had a great breakfast with our families. Then Wes and Jackson went sledding at the sanddunes with Paula's family and I got to go shopping with my mom and sister. We had a great time despite the 2 degree temperature. We swam at Green Canyon and had lots of fun. The temple was beautiful and we got to take Jackson. He was very interested, especially in the baptismal font with the oxen. He talked and talked and talked about being baptized and having his sins washed away. It was really sweet. It was a cold, but fun weekend.

London-9 months!
London is 9 months old today and growing fast. She is crawling like crazy and takes steps while holding onto the couch. She loves Jackson, but knows when to cry and get him in trouble. She also loves to eat, especially finger foods! I guess she really is a Wood! We love having little girl!
