Springtime in Springville!

I got Jackson this train conductor outfit because I just couldn't resist how cute he looked in it. He loves to put all our chairs in a line and pretend it's a train. He even makes me give him a ticket to get on.

I told Jackson he could go play in the mud, and the shocked look on his face was so funny-like he couldn't believe I said he could play in mud. Then the look turned to pure joy! I thought, "Oh Man, those pajamas he is wearing are going to be dirty!" But he actually kept them pretty clean.

We took these pictures on Sunday after church. I thought they looked so cute and springy.

Mommy and London both in yellow

Londie lou after her first tootsie pop. I let her eat it in the car on the way home from Costco and she had it licked right down to the tootsie roll by the time we got home. She was also very very sticky. Her tongue matches her eyes!

Stinger Bees

Jackson loves to look at flowers to see if he can spot any "stinger bees" as he calls them. Every since he has watched "Bee Movie," he is interested in bees and if they are making honey. He finds bees and then looks to see if they have any pollen on their back legs. Jackson tells me how grateful he is for bees because they make honey for us, for free. He also loves to help daddy with the flowers by watering them everyday. The picture with the tree and the blue sky is a mystery place. Can anyone guess where this picture was taken?

LONDON 1 YEAR OLD!

Today London turned 1. I can't believe how fast this year went. It seems like we were just barely bringing her home from the hospital. Now, she is getting into all the toilet paper and trying to keep up with Jackson. For her birthday, she got a little plastic puppy from Mommy and Daddy, a pink princess rubber ball from Jackson, a little doll from Grandma Susie, a cute pillowcase-pink with green froggies made by Grandma Nye, and an electronic book from Bryan and Lulu, and a bathtoy from her friends, Caleb and Brynley. Wow, Londie, you are one lucky girl. Happy Birthday!

London is Walking

I thought I should let everyone know (who don't know already) that London is walking! She took her first real steps on March 26, so she has been walking for about a month now and is doing a very very good job at it. Good Job Londie!

Weekend Getaway

This weekend Saundra treated me to a weekend because she loves me so much, even though I paid for it. We left our kids at my sisters house and went skiing at Snowbird. It was a beautiful day and the snow was still pretty nice. A thermometer at the base said 70 degrees, and yes, it was in the shade. We then stayed a night up in Park City at the Canyons Resort. Of course there was a lot of good food involved such as the Baja Cantina and The Cheesecake factory. We also caught a movie, 21. Pretty intense movie. Thanks for the great weekend Saun. Love you!

Grateful for Bryan!

I really have to dedicate a posting to my brother-in-law, Bryan. Without his help, my blog wouldn't look this cool. Bryan helped me change my background pattern, change my colors, make the cool cube, and put music to my blog. Without him, my blog would still be boring. So, thank you Bryan. For everyone who commented about my blog being cute, darling, cool, etc., all the credit must all go to my brother-in-law who spent countless hours helping me with it. I am VERY GRATEFUL for YOU Bryan! Thank you!

Fun in the Tub! St. George

My parents have a hottub at their house in St. George. The kids love it. The weather was so nice and everything was blooming and green. Wes took tons of pictures of flowers and trees and I put them in the cube at the top of the blog. It was beautiful. If it wasn't so hot in the summer, we would really consider moving there.

St. George Weekend

We spent the weekend in St. George. It was so much fun and the weather was so nice. We went to Zion Nat'l Park and swam in the hot tub. Wes and Jackson went on a little motorbike ride. We hung out with Laura, Bryan, and Grandma Susie, but we didn't seem to get any pics of Laura and Bryan or their kitties, which is surprising because Jackson and London spent most of their time playing with the kitties-Roger and Fiona. I am sure Roger and Fifi are relaxing from their long hard weekend of trying to run away from Jackson and London.

Our New Van!

For those who wanted to see what our van looks like, here it is! Sorry the picture is so small. I took it with my phone and this is as big as it will get. Our car is a 2007 Hyndai Entourage-blue. Jackson loves it and always asks when we have to take it back. I love telling him that we DON"T HAVE TO take it back. I tell him it's our forever and that makes him very happy.

Snow!

Last week, on Sunday, March 30th, we woke up to about 6 inches of snow! Crazy! Wes and Jackson went out to build a snowman, and London sat at the window and bawled until I got her dressed up and took her outside too. She loved it. It is now one week later and our snowman's last remains finally melted today.

Jackson's Sleeping Arrangements

Jackson has spent the last month finding new sleeping arrangements. I guess he isn't too fond of his bed lately. So here he is in the back of Wes' truck, in the laundry room (comfy huh?), in the bathtub, and finally in his tent (at least the tent is on his bed). And in that last picture if you look closely at London, she has a binky in her mouth. This has just happened in the last couple of days. She found it in the toy basket and hasn't let go of it since. (Neither of my kids have taken a binky of any kind-well up until now...) It's really cute, but I know I should just take it away so she doesn't get too attached.

Goodbye Grandma Bui!

We finally sold poor Grandma Bui! We were sad and happy to see her go. She did not run, and was taking up space in our garage, but it was still sad to see her go. On the upside, we got a van. Yay! I am a van mom now. I don't care. I love it. It has so much room, gets pretty good gas mileage, and we can take passengers other than our immediate family. I really like that aspect. I haven't taken a picture of it yet, so I will have to get one up. It is a 2007 Hyundia Entourage and it's light blue. It's a great little van. We are excited to have it. Now I just need to come up with a good name for her. Any suggestions?

Easter Weekend

We had a good time over Easter. Chelsea and Riley came down and stayed with us. Laura, Bryan, and Grandma Susie came up and we helped L and B move out of their house. We had an Easter Egg hunt with our ward and then Easter dinner on Sunday with everyone. It was really fun. Jackson and London loved finding the Easter Eggs.

London 11 months!

Londie-you are 11 months old today and growing up so fast! London took her first real steps without holding onto anything on March 26th. She is learning fast....

Last Fall

This picture was taken last fall up in the mountains. I thought it was a nice picture of my little family so I thought I would share it. Cute huh? Jackson looks like a little farm boy with his John Deere hat on. He love John Deere because that's what Grandpa drives on the farm.

Good thing we have kids so we have something to put on the blog. It seems like all we take pictures of anymore is our kids, which is perfectly fine. Here is London in her chair up to the counter eating cheerios or bread. She loves to be up to the table with the family. She sure is sweet. Jackson was told by Saundra that if he stayed in the bathtub (he was taking a bath) too long he would have to sleep in there. Well that was the wrong thing to say. As soon has he got ready for bed he hightailed it into the bathroom with his pillow and blanket and proceeded to get into the tub. I was unaware of what Saundra had said so I asked Jackson what he was doing and he said, "sleeping in the tub." "Okay, have a good night," I said. That didn't last long. He was in his bed before we knew it. Jackson did sleep downstairs all by himself awhile ago. He said he was too hot in his room and wanted to sleep downstairs. We were surprised and thought he would be back up in no time. He slept the whole night downstairs alone. It scares me to sleep downstairs alone. Kidding. We love our kids. They are so good and we are so blessed to have them.

London Eating Cheerios

London loves sitting up to the table eating bread or cheerios. She is so fun to be around. We know when she is finished because she starts throwing everything onto the floor or pounding her food. We love her.
