The 4 of us were up bright and early meeting our tour guide, Gary (meow) from Bumpiing Tours at 8:30 am. We went to Titou Gorge where we saw beautiful waterfalls and we got to swim through some rocks to another waterfall. It was really fun. Then we went to Trafalgar Falls were we got to sit in warm mineral hot springs and also swim by a waterfall. Dominica has mountains and much of Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed here, so they have a lot of waterfalls. Then he took us to Champagne Reef where we got to snorkel. It was really pretty and we saw a turtle. This was my favorite day I think. We got back to the ship around 5pm, ate some lunch and had a sail-away icecream cone.

Day 4 January 13-Barbados
On Wednesday we stopped in Barbados and Wes and I took a way overpriced taxi ($20) to Payne's Bay Beach, a mere 10 minutes away. I didn't like our taxi driver either. He was way too pushy. By the time we got to the beach, I was kind of in a bad mood from the not-so-great vibes we had been getting from our taxi driver. We hung out on the beach and relaxed and played in the ocean, and then it was time to go. I did not want to take another taxi, so we decided to take the local bus back to the ship. We waited at the bus stop and a bright yellow bus OVER-FLOWING to the brim with locals, pumping Reggae music pulled over and we got on. It was a very interesting ride and by far the best part of the day. The driver was crazy. I thought the bus was going to tip over a couple times, or we were going to crash into other cars. I was smashed into some guy's armpit almost the whole ride. And the whole time, the reggae music played. The best part of the ride? It only cost us $3 bucks to get back to the ship. We loved it!
After dinner that evening, we went to the show and they played a game with volunteers, so I got up on stage and made a fool of myself running around playing some dumb game. I guess it was kind of fun though.

Christmas in St. George
Merry Christmas! We spent Christmas weekend in St. George. It was really nice and relaxing. The weather was pleasant and we had a great time. Here are some of the things we did. After I uploaded these, I realized they are not in order.
Uncle Sam
Presents from Santa
Uncle Bry, Aunt Lulu, Lola (in tummy), and Jackson
Jackson with his favorite gift
Jackson and London in her new dress up clothes

On a family hike
We went motorbiking with Uncle Sam
We went to Zion's with Riley and Chelsea
More of Christmas morning-me with my brand new sewing machine
Grandpa and Londie with her farm animals
Ri and Chel
This is sadly the only pic I got of my parents. My grandma Joyce was there too, but I didn't get a pic of her. And sadly, we didn't get a picture of the whole family together.

Aunt Lulu and Lola jammin' in Jackson's Bumble Bee helmet

New Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve
This pic should go before the one above it.

December 2009
Here is a little of what we have been doing this month...
Jackson's kindergarten Christmas program which lasted all of 6 minutes...of which I showed up 5 minutes late...London's outfit...Christmas pjs, Halloween shirt, summer tanktop, pink cowboy boots...
Took Teddie to the groomers and they put Christmas bows in her hair. She looked so cute and very nicely groomed...
Got to see Santa at ward Christmas party and tell him what we wanted for Christmas...
London was too shy to talk, but sat on his lap anyway (I didn't think she'd even do that)...
Got a visit from Uncle Sam who helped the kids build the gingerbread house. Sam spent many minutes getting the gingerbread man to sit on the rooftop...
A visit to Temple square...Wes sure looks happy...(he actually wasn't feeling well poor guy)...
