Oooouuuch!!!!!

I have to tell you what happened to me on Tuesday while I was building our garden box in the backyard. I was using a cordless drill screwing in a grabber to some brackets to hold the corners together. I was pushing with the drill as hard as I could and it slipped off the grabber and went right into my thumb. Blood started to gush out and spray all over. This picture is of our fence that got sprayed and the other picture is of my thumb five days later. My t-shirt was covered in blood because it got sprayed too (you can see it in the last picture). It hurt so bad I almost threw up. I had to lay down for awhile. Good thing London was there to help me out. Anyway, it feels better now and my garden box is complete. I'm surprised the drill bit didn't come out the other side of my thumb. And yes, I had to get a tetanus shot.

SHUT UP! That is so bad! I almost threw up thinking about how bad that would hurt! I SWEAR you can die from finger injuries or stubbing your toe...there just isn't a worse pain...well I mean outside of kidney stones & Child birth! :)

Oh blast! I read the text before I looked at the pictures and assumed this had happened to Saun. I was so impressed that she was using a drill to use a garden box. Funny. Wes- I hope you get healed up soon. This sounds miserable. Fun to have you write a post.

Wes, you ruined your Rex Lee Run t-shirt! I got you that t-shirt! See if I ever get you a free t-shirt again.

And I guess I'm glad your thumb is okay too.

Steve, are you sure you got me that shirt? I thought I got it at Savers here in Orem. It's been a good shirt though. Thanks again for the shirt.
