Making Bread with Vitamix

We made our first loaf of whole wheat bread in the Vitamix. It all started last Spring. My dad planted the wheat and nurtured it all summer. He then harvested it in the fall, and we drove up to Rexburg filled up a bucket and took it home. Then, this morning, Wes cleaned out the chaf with a blow dryer, and we dumped it in the vitamix.
We ground it up for 2 minutes and it was ready.
Then, we poured in the rest of the ingredients and the vitmix kneaded it. Then we plopped it into the pan and let it rise.
Voila! Fresh whole wheat homemade bread!
It looks kind of flat, but I think I just put it in a pan that was too big. It was actually very good for my first time.

We have one of these! LOVE IT! Thanks for inspiring me to do more than just smoothies! I am totally going to go all domestic and crank out some bread! Ryan won't know what happened!

I am finally trying to catch up on blogs. The last 3 weeks have been insane! Now we are home and just waiting for our Sweet little D to decide when it is time for him to return to our Father in Heaven. I need something to distract me. What better than friends blogs and homemade bread! :)
