White Rim Bike Trip-Day 3, 40 miles

It rained all night and we thought today's ride was going to be awful, but it was a gorgeous day. We started around 7:45am and we biked almost 40 miles today. It was a lot of down hill, but some hard uphills as well. We stopped at a slot canyon to take some pics, then ate lunch around noon at the top of a real hard hill climb called Hardscrabble. Wes and I drove in the truck after lunch for the last leg of the trip-about 15 miles or so out of the canyon. It was a great trip and I hope we get to do it again sometime.
Beautiful View of the White Rim
Wes about to fall off a cliff....just kidding, he had plenty of room.

Wow! Looks like you guys had a great time. I don't think I could do 40 miles, well, maybe, but who knows. Maybe I should start by getting a bike. Ü Cool pics!

That looks so so fun! You two should go every year and invite your blond sister and bro-in-law.

Wes & Saun, it looks like you had a great trip. I miss going to Southern Utah with you both. We should meet up sometime and do something together. Hope all is well!
