Labor Day Weekend in Idaho

We spent Labor Day Weekend in Idaho. We went to the farm while Grandpa was harvesting barley and we had lots of fun. Then we went to Island Park and spent a couple of days. Here are some of the things we did.
Grandpa in the combine
Fishing on the river

My 2 favorite beautiful sisters

Chel with Lucy. While we were in Rexburg, Lucy had some real bad seizures and went kind of crazy and we had to put her down in the middle of the night. It was really sad, but she was in pain. It was hard to say goodbye to our sweet little Luey. She was a good doggie. We will miss here very much.......anyone know where I can get a Boston Terrior puppy for cheap?

Me at my Aunt Saundra's grave. It's not every day you get to see a headstone with your name on it.

Lulu, Londie and me also visited Grandpa Seth and Grandma Teddie while the boys were out fishing. It was a beautiful afternoon. Ahh, I love it up there.

Isn't this a cool picture of the Rexburg Temple from way far away with the headstones in the foreground? I think it looks like something from the old days. I love this picture.

Just the girls

Just the girls and Grandpa going for a ride on the combine

Jackson and London playing in the itchy itchy barley

Me money! Me money! Don't spill me MONEY!

Granpda's state-of-the-art combine. You don't want to know how much it costs...

While in Island Park, we drove to the Lewis and Clark Caverns in Montana. We went on a 2 hour tour through them. They were really neat. If you have ever been to the Minnetonka caves at Bear Lake.....well these caverns put Minnetonka to shame...sorry.

I love this pic of Jackson with Grandpa

...and this one too with Grandma

Inside the caverns

These caverns are made out of limestone

Had to get a picture with the bear

Jackson's bed at the cabin....no wonder he likes to go there....don't look at the sheets or the bedskirt....it's not a good combo.

Picking huckleberries

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Nye where I seriously embarrassed myself tripping over a hose and skidding down the driveway in front of 4 people. To read the full story go to the Nye Family Blog. Also aren't Grandma Nye's flowers gorgeous!

That looks like such a fun weekend! Those caves look awesome! Way better than minnetonka! I love the pictures of your birthday dinner too. So fun.
