My mom's brother, my Uncle Roger, passed away a few weeks ago, so London and I went to Rexburg (Idaho Falls) for the funeral. Despite it being a funeral, it was nice to see my mom's side of the family and to spend time with them. It was a very nice day. Thanks to Tiffany, my cousin, who planned it and for the great meal afterward.
My dad left Rexburg in his plane at 5:15 am and picked London and I up at 7:45am at the airport.

London in the plane entertaining herself. It was very noisy so I couldn't really talk to her.

When we got to Rexburg, there were some other planes landing so we took a detour to the farm. Here is the temple and Rexburg valley from our farm.
Here is southeast Rexburg. My parent's home is a few blocks down from where the houses start by the farmland.

London found her favorite car at the hangar-Pinky the Caddy.
After the funeral, the family got to ride in limos to the burial. It was so nice to visit with family on the drive. Thanks Tiffany. Great Idea! Below, my Uncle Rod, mom, Sam, Dad, and cousin Annie's hubby, Mark.

Right after the funeral, my mom, London, and I, hopped in her car and drove right back down to Springville for my cousin, Annie's, baby shower the next day. It was a short, but fun trip.

Neat neat pictures --- sorry I didn't know about it --- until after it was all over.
The pictures of Burg from the plane are awesome! Makes me home sick to see all these pictures. Londie is so sweet, can't wait to have a powder helper over T-giving. So jealous you got to be with our family. Dad is cute in that picture. I don't know why it seemed inconvenient for him to come pick me up.
