UPS Party

London looking cute as usual
Jackson rototilling the backyard. He is such a good little helper. He loves to work. Well, not inside so much like cleaning up his toys, but he loves to work outside.
We went to a party at UPS and they had a fire engine and an ambulance for the kids to look at and get in. Jackson loved it so much! Here he is in a firefighter helmet and below in front of an ambulance.

London got a bright orange balloon at the party and would not let it go the entire time.

Fun things!

Look how much London looks up to her big brother. Another great moment when I think it is so special to have more than one child.
Jackson takes after his daddy...loves to go camping and hiking.
We stopped at this store and told Jackson his name was on it...well almost.
Jackson chillin' in a tractor wheel
I just loved this shot of London's little behind when we were at Grandpa Nye's house.

Memorial Day Weekend!

Well, we had a great Memorial Weekend. We had so much fun in Rexburg. It rained the whole time, but we managed to find lots to do. We went to Jackson, went to the farm, played on tractors, visited our loved ones at the cemetary, swam at Green Canyon, ate out, and even went to a movie. Here are some pics. And I am going to post a lot, so get ready...

In front of Jenny Lake. We went to Jackson with Grandma Susie, Chelsea, and Riley.

Playing the drums with Uncle Sam

More Memorial Weekend

Daddy and London in Grandpa Nye's nice backyard
We climbed a ladder to peek at these baby birds in a tree at Grandpa Nye's house. I was way excited to see the birds and thought they would be "oh so cute," but when I saw them, I was more like, "oh how gross!"
Cooking hotdogs at Grandpa Nye's with cousins. Uncle Dave, Nathan, Jacob, Sarah, and Rachel.
Visiting Grandma Teddie and Grandpa Seth
I put this one in too, because I wanted one in of Grandpa Wood with his grandkids.

...and More Memorial Weekend

Yes, it is weird to see your own name on a headstone...I was named after my aunt Saundra who died of pnemonia when she was about 6 months old
Wes with Uncle Sam
Ha ha Grandpa...Jackson am sitting in your special car...
Can you find Jackson in the car?

I have to apologize to the following people...Grandma and Grandpa Nye, Grandma Susie, Aunt Chelsea, and Uncle Riley, for not getting any pictures of you guys. I am very sorry. We still love you guys a lot. I need to remember to take pictures of other people than just my kids.

How Many Tractors Can Jackson Get On?

We went to Idaho this last week for a little vacation and Jackson spent quite a bit of time with Grandpa Wood. Jackson loves getting on and riding tractors whenever he can. He wants to drive tractor like Grandpa.

Oooouuuch!!!!!

I have to tell you what happened to me on Tuesday while I was building our garden box in the backyard. I was using a cordless drill screwing in a grabber to some brackets to hold the corners together. I was pushing with the drill as hard as I could and it slipped off the grabber and went right into my thumb. Blood started to gush out and spray all over. This picture is of our fence that got sprayed and the other picture is of my thumb five days later. My t-shirt was covered in blood because it got sprayed too (you can see it in the last picture). It hurt so bad I almost threw up. I had to lay down for awhile. Good thing London was there to help me out. Anyway, it feels better now and my garden box is complete. I'm surprised the drill bit didn't come out the other side of my thumb. And yes, I had to get a tetanus shot.

Beautiful Day in Rexburg

We went to Rexburg for Memorial Day Weekend, and here are a few pictures-taken by my nephew, Jacob Nye of the Dave Nye family-that I thought were cute. He is a great photographer and only 13 years old! I realize that Jackson is not in any of these pictures, but he was having fun playing in the ditch with his cousins. I will post more pictures when we get home. We are still in Rexburg enjoying a moment of the only good weather we have had this weekend.

New Beginnings!

We have started some fun new things around here that are making our otherwise boring lives quite exciting.

#1 We have started working on our basement! Yay! Extra room for our kids! I guess that means we will have to start having more of them.

#2 I started teaching piano lessons! I have had 1 student for about a month, and I just picked up 4 more this week, so I will have a total of 5 piano students.

#3 I went rock climbing last weekend with my sister and bro-in-law, and I think I have found a new love. I climbed 2 rock cliffs about 75 feet high and I made it all the way to the top on both of them! I know you all think this is me in the picture, but it is not. I didn't take my camera so I didn't get any real pics of me climbing. But I was awesome!

Mother's Day!

I went to Rexburg this past weekend with my sister, Laura, and no one else! Yay! It was a couple days away from the kids. I had a lot of fun with my mom, Laura, Chel, Riley, Sam, Lucy, and my dad. We went to dinner, went to the movies, ate chocolates from Florence's, stayed up late talking, and I even got to go rockclimbing with Chel and Riley. It was so much fun and very refreshing. But I missed my husband and my kids so much the whole time. Weird how that goes, huh? Anyway, being away from them even for just a couple days helps me to remember how much I love them and their messes and how much I love my sweet husband. I love being a mom, and even though it is hard sometimes, it is totally worth it! I love my family.

It's this game called Bag Tag...

And I'm IT! Here's how it works. My sis-in-law, Bri, tagged me so I'm supposed to take a picture of my purse and all it contains at this very moment (no cleaning allowed). So here goes...

1-diaper
2-Cottenelle wipes
3-film that needs to be developed-yes, film. It is very very old. I don't even know what's on it.
4-B & B lotion
5-chapsticks and lipglosses
6-antibacterial wipes
7-compact mirror
8-old cough drop (not used, just old)
9-hair band and clip
10-wallet
11-little pink bag to put all my lipgloss in

What's in your purse? I tag:
Laura
Claudia
Kim G.

Jackson's Sleeping Arrangements

Under London's crib

Under the kitchen table

In our bedroom backwards on top of the changing pad. He also moved our little green table next to the bed.

In the laundry room with his tent

I know I have posted before about the places Jackson likes to sleep, but he just keeps coming up with new places to sleep in. He says he hates sleeping in his bed, so he either sleeps on the floor in his room or he figures out new places to sleep. It is really funny. We let him fall asleep at night in all these places and then we always end up moving him to his bed after he is asleep. It's a good thing I didn't spend any money on his mattress because it is just going to waste.
