Skiing with Jackson

Saturday I went skiing with Jim at Snowbird, but didn't get any pictures of us. Saundra brought Jackson up and I took him skiing for a couple hours. He is doing great!!

IceCream Breath

As Jackson and I were snuggling:

Jackson: "Mom, get your face away from me. Your breath stinks."

Mom: "Oh, does it smell like onions and Mexican food?" (that is what I ate for lunch).

Jackson: "Um, no. It smells like ice-cream."

My little guy says the nicest things!

January 2011

We got a new camera for Christmas and got a little happy with the snapshots. So here is what we did:
London's bruise from falling at the mall.

Painted toenails-London's

We went to a Jazz game with Jim and Lindsey

We were on the second row...

Playing in the snow

Playing dressup with friend, Brynley

When Jackson makes his bed, he goes all out.

Bedtime!

Bathtime!

I mean, Bubbletime!

Painting some wall hooks for the new baby's room

We got a new camera, yay! So the last couple of pics look much better than the pics from our old camera. We are very excited about it.

Weekend in George Nov 13

Last weekend we were able to go to Saint George and have a fun relaxing weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. We swam in the hot tub, saw a friend, and went on a nice hike.

Jackson, Wes, and Grandpa found a tortoise on the trail. It was cool!
Peek-a-boo! Where are you little tortoise.

Halloween in Springville

Jackson watched "The Three Amigos" last week and wanted to dress up like one. He loves that show.
Carving Pumpkins. Minnie Mouse and a ghost

Can you tell what Jackson wrote?
London was a bee for her preschool Halloween party
She got some new clothes for Fall

The kids made a bed at the bottom of the stairs and had me throw pillows on them
Obi Won Kanobi

After the TRUNK-OR-TREAT. We were going to actually go trick-or-treating afterwards, but a huge storm rolled in right as the trunk-or-treat was ending. Everyone was racing for their cars through the hail, wind, and rain. It was crazy. So we just stayed home after that.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT: So here is my soap box for the day: I do NOT like trunk-or-treats. I think they are kind of greedy. I like for my kids to work for their candy by going door-to-door and making it a fun experience instead of getting a bucketful of candy within 10 minutes. But we go because we like to see everyone in our ward dressed up. It is fun. I really wish our ward would do a Halloween Carnival instead of the trunk-or-treat. That way we could still see everyone, but our kids would have to work for their candy, and heaven forbid, use their manners. So many kids walk around from car to car with a blank "give me" stare on their faces with hardly a "thank you."

Totally unrelated to Halloween: On the right is a NALGENE Brand nalgene. On the left is an Emergency Essentials Brand nalgene after a romp through the dishwasher. Note: the one on the left used to be the same size as the one on the right. Also, I did NOT have the "Heated Dry" turned on in the dishwasher. So, moral is, spend a few extra bucks and buy the NALGENE Brand.
