Jackson watched "The Three Amigos" last week and wanted to dress up like one. He loves that show.

Can you tell what Jackson wrote?

After the TRUNK-OR-TREAT. We were going to actually go trick-or-treating afterwards, but a huge storm rolled in right as the trunk-or-treat was ending. Everyone was racing for their cars through the hail, wind, and rain. It was crazy. So we just stayed home after that.
TRUNK-OR-TREAT: So here is my soap box for the day: I do NOT like trunk-or-treats. I think they are kind of greedy. I like for my kids to work for their candy by going door-to-door and making it a fun experience instead of getting a bucketful of candy within 10 minutes. But we go because we like to see everyone in our ward dressed up. It is fun. I really wish our ward would do a Halloween Carnival instead of the trunk-or-treat. That way we could still see everyone, but our kids would have to work for their candy, and heaven forbid, use their manners. So many kids walk around from car to car with a blank "give me" stare on their faces with hardly a "thank you."
Totally unrelated to Halloween: On the right is a NALGENE Brand nalgene. On the left is an Emergency Essentials Brand nalgene after a romp through the dishwasher. Note: the one on the left used to be the same size as the one on the right. Also, I did NOT have the "Heated Dry" turned on in the dishwasher. So, moral is, spend a few extra bucks and buy the NALGENE Brand.

I certainly agree about NO MANNERS --- where have they gone? There was a segment today with Matt Lauer about it --- and they claim a lot is by parent's example --- plus the internet --- don't have to claim your identity. Anyway -- our country has gone down the tube about manners --- EVEN in the church.
Loved the cute pictures --- HOW many costumes do you have at your house --- everyday they seemed to be in a differenout outfit --- cute.
You crack me up!! Your kids look SO cute. love the costumes.
I totally have to agree with you about the trunk or treat. I hated it was every ward in the building and that too many of the older kids think its a free for all.
I love Jackson's costume!
oh my gosh, your kiddos are so stinkin cute. and that nalgene thing kills me. SOO funny.
