We went to the Harward Farms pumpkin patch while Grandma Susie visited for a day.
The haystack at the pumpkin patch
Jumping onto the hay ride

Playing in the cornkernel box (like sandbox)

Me with my kiddos.
Jackson finally chose his pumpkin after running around the entire pumpkin patch
Of course, mommy had to carry it back cuz it was too heavy for him.

They had a petting zoo with a little kangaroo. I didn't know kangaroos had such soft fur.
Standing by the tractor that pulls the hay ride. Apparently they weren't doing any more rides for the evening and when we told Jackson, this is what happened...
...here comes the crying
...then I told him to look at me so I could take a picture of his cute crying face, but he just growled at me and this is what I got.
The next day Grandma Susie left and London's preschool went on a field trip to another pumpkin patch, HeeHaws.

The kids got to go in the corn maze. The corn was so tall. I was kind of worried we were going to get lost in the maze.

Then she rode the tractor swing. I want one of these for our backyard. I thought it was the cutest thing. Can anyone make one for me?
2 enormous pumpkins
And then the kids got to pick a little pumpkin. I tried to take one since I had paid for myself to get into the pumpkin patch, but they only let the little kids take one. What a rip off.
On Saturday, London was invited to a Halloween Costume Birthday Party. So here she is in her witch costume complete with birthday gift.

Later last night, they were in the bath and I went to check on them. They had pulled some blue latex gloves out of my kitchen drawer and had filled them with water. I didn't know those latex gloves could hold so much water!
This is London with her vampire teeth. She says, "Mommy, vampires drink blood." Then she goes around pretending to bite everyone.

Cute pictures --- have you carved the pumpking yet? That used to be a fun thing to do here --- once upon a time.
Glad Grandma Susie could stop by --- was she on her way south for the winter --- because I think it's arrived today.
Thanks for the post.
Holy cow, good update :) That is SURELY a rip off that you couldn't take a pumpkin - grr. I love Halloween time/fall in general. It is so nice out and there are so many fun things to do, especially as a kid.
I hear that Utah got snow this morning. Did it hit you?
